Mohamed bin Zayed University is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 academic year in the United Arab Emirates. This prestigious scholarship offers master's and Ph. D.s full financial support for education.
Mohamed bin Zayed University is a research-based institution established in 2019 to drive economic development, promote excellence in AI applications, and develop outstanding AI projects.
What does the scholarship offer?
• Full coverage of tuition fees;
• Monthly stipend;
• Student accommodation on campus;
• Support for transportation costs;
• Health insurance and UAE visa sponsorship for non-UAE nationals.
Scholarship for International and UAE Resident Students:
• MSc: AED 8,000;
• PhD: AED 10,000 (Married PhD students may receive an additional AED 5,000 housing allowance provided they live off-campus and provide official documentation and approval.
Scholarship for UAE national students:
• MSc: AED 30,000 (single) or AED 33,000 (married; official documentation will be required);
• PhD: AED 36,000 (single) or AED 39,000 (married; official documentation will be required)
Eligibility Criteria:
• Possess a bachelor's or master's degree in S.T.E.M. such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering Mathematics, Physics, and other relevant Science and Engineering majors from a university accredited or recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE);
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent for Masters and PhD applicants;
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent for joint Masters-PhD applicants;
• Applicants must submit completed degree certificates and transcripts (in English) when submitting their application. Students in their final year of graduation can apply using their transcript and pending graduation letter. Upon admission, they must submit a completed degree certificate and transcript;
• Knowledge of English;
• A valid Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test certificate is optional for master's and PhD applicants, and mandatory for joint master's-PhD applicants.
