The University Of London organizes an online BSc Taster Day to introduce the Humanitarian Studies Programs offered by UCL.
UCL Global Humanitarian Studies BSc taster course will take place on 9 February and will be offered online.
Students interested in the humanitarian sector and wishing to continue their career in this field that makes a real difference to people and communities around the world are welcome to take part in this informative session. They will find an introduction to humanitarianism and explore some of the key issues in humanitarian studies, such as ethics, climate change, economics, and international relations. They'll also work together in groups identifying risks, challenges, and resolutions, as well as hearing about some of the positive impacts real organizations have on the ground.
At the end of the session, students will find out a better understanding of humanitarianism.
Unique in the UK, the Global Humanities Studies Bachelor's program has been created in collaboration with key organizations in the sector, providing you with the essential skills and knowledge you need to become a humanities professional.
