    This unit provides learners with an understanding of computer networking essentials and cloud technologies, their operating principles, protocols, standards, security considerations, and prototypes associated with this field. A wide range of networking technologies will be also examined including Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) and how they evolved to create large-scale networks. Protocol methodologies related to IP data networks will also be explored.

    Module Aims

    First part of the unit offers learners to understand the reasons and methods of development of E-Commerce strategies that are used by organizations. Moreover, the learner will also gain knowledge of the required resources and elements of organizational strategies when implementing and setting up of E-Commerce sites. Additionally, through the first part, he learner will also develop and enhance skills that are usually required when creating a solution for E-Commerce related issues.

    The second part of the unit aims to tactfully develop the identification ability of the learner so that the learner will be able to choose APIs to be utilized for the mobile application that the learner plans to create as per his choice or as per the given scenario. Thus, the learner’s identification ability will be enhanced than only gaining knowledge of initial designing, documenting and testing.
